Life in the Emerald City

Hi, welcome to my blog and thanks for being interested enough to check us out!  My name is Elizabeth (that’s me on the left) and that handsome man next to me is my husband, Sean.  We have been married just over two years now, but have been together much longer.  We are both graduates from the University of Florida; I am semi-actively pursuing starting my Doctorate in the next year or so.  I am a stay-at-home mom, Sean is a flight test engineer for The Boeing Company.  We live in Kingston, WA just across the Puget Sound from Seattle.

This is our beautiful daughter, Olivia!  Born on Friday, November 19, 2010…she is our first and has quickly become the apple in both our eyes!  We also have a fun-loving Boston Terrier, Mackenzie, whose updated photo will be added soon!  She is almost seven years old now and just as rambunctious as when she was a pup!

I write about our life and what I feel is most interesting that our friends, family and other blog stalkers would enjoy reading about.  I try and keep the topics light and engaging, but our life usually does that for me!  Feel free to check out my homemaking blog, La Cucina della Vaniglia.  I try and put a new recipe up there every now and then!
